Candy Cane Mounts 3 Foot

$7.95$9.95

3D Printed mounting system for the 3 foot tall Gilbert Engineering Candy Canes. The mounts utilize 1/2″ EMT conduit and provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces.

IMPORTANT: These mounts are sold a la carte and 2 mounts are the recommended as a minimum on the 3 foot canes. The candy canes can be ordered with a base mount that has a flat section which lays on the ground with holes for landscape stakes to prevent twisting. The base mount takes the place of a standard mount, so for example a 3 foot candy cane would have one standard mount and one base mount. If you have any questions please contact us prior to ordering. Colors may vary, typically they are white or black. If you have a specific color request for white or black please include a note indicating your preference with your order, but keep in mind that it may increase processing time for in-stock items. Includes 3D printed parts only.

3D printing parts is a slow process and we have a whole print farm running 24/7 to fulfill orders and build stock of the more popular items. If you order a product that shows “made to order” we will move it directly to the print queue where it will be printed as soon as possible. While normal processing times for most orders with made to order items is less than a week, it can fluctuate. Very large orders can also experience longer than normal processing times as well because of the high number of hours it takes to produce lots of parts. If processing times are expected to be longer than two weeks before shipping, there will be a banner at the top of the website indicating the expected wait times. See the FAQ page for more info.

All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.

For freestanding installation use 1/2″ rebar and drive the rebar into the ground. Then slide the candy canes over top of the rebar and use landscape stakes in the holes on the base mount to prevent turning. Wind and height can make a secure installation challenging. Try and utilize 3 feet or longer rebar and go at least 1.5 feet into the ground depending on soil. The deeper the rebar goes into the ground and the taller it sticks out and fits inside of the EMT, the stronger your pixel pole will stand.
