The top, mid and bottom mounts are the primary connection to your mega tree topper and the support conduit attaches slightly different compared to our other mounts in order to increase strength. At each mount a 2.5″ long 1/4 x 20 machine screw is inserted on the top of the mount and attaches to a 1/4 x 20 nut that you insert into the underside of the mount. This creates an incredibly strong post that will support the primary loads of the topper. The horizontal supports are made with either 1/2″ or 3/4″ EMT conduit (depending on the version purchased) and at the center junction point a 3/4″ PVC cross is used to connect the threaded pipe or EMT conduit using the included bushings. On all versions you want the vertical support conduit to run continuously between the top and bottom mounts with the horizontal span made from two shorter pieces. Furthermore on all mega mount versions the connection to the lower left and right points from the bottom center mount is made using 1/2″ EMT conduit regardless of the conduit version for the rest of the mount.

3D printing parts is a slow process and we have a whole print farm running 24/7 to fulfill orders and build stock of the more popular items. If you order a product on backorder we will move it directly to the print queue where it will be printed as soon as possible. While normal processing times for most orders with backordered items is less than a week, it can fluctuate from time to time around 1-2 weeks. Very large orders can also experience longer than normal processing times as well. If processing times are expected to be longer than two weeks before shipping, there will be a banner at the top of the website indicating the expected wait times. Additionally very large orders could have longer delays due to the vast number of printer hours required for production of the parts. We will contact you and let you know the expected production time if it were to exceed the estimated timeline for very large orders. See the FAQ page for more info.
All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.
