This STL file set contains everything needed to 3D print the mounting system designed specifically for the EFL Spiral X NSR Tree. The mounts are designed to be zip-tied directly to the coro and are available in two mounting styles: Basic and Mega. The Basic version consists of three mounts along the centerline of the tree that support a single piece of 20mm conduit. The Mega version adds outrigger mounts designed primarily to help stabilize the tree during ground installations. The outrigger mounts and center mounts are also sized for 20mm conduit, allowing rebar to be driven into the ground and inserted inside the conduit. Because the tree is 47″ tall, these mounts are not intended to be the sole support system. The tree should either be attached to a solid structure such as a fence post or porch column, supported with a separate conduit framework using Maker Pipe fittings, or stabilized using guy wires attached directly to the conduit. A Maker Pipe support framework can be fabricated using additional conduit and fittings to create angled supports extending from the tree, forming a rigid triangular structure.

Please note this prop is asymmetric and there is a defined front side and a back side. The renderings show the mounts attached to the back side of the prop which matches the xLights wiring diagram from EFL.

This mount utilizes a handful of zip tie tunnels in addition to traditional zip tie slots at some locations. These mounts have an opening on the bottom with an internal hollow tunnel that allows the zip tie to pass completely through the mount from one side to the other. When a zip tie tunnel is present, the zip tie must be inserted from the front of the prop rather than the back. This design keeps the zip tie concealed within the mount while providing a secure connection to the coro when space is limited. As with all our designs, we strive to utilize the precut zip tie hole locations for our mounts when possible. On the Spiral X NSR Tree we utilize the stock zip tie hole locations on the center mounts, but additional zip tie holes will still need to be made when using the mounts on this prop.
