Poor Mans Pixel Pole Mounts – 600 Node EMT

Price range: $22.95 through $119.95

3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Poor Mans Pixel Pole 600 Node poles utilizing two spans of 1/2″ EMT conduit for the mounting material. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces. There are 3 separate mounts in this design, a base mount, a standard mount, and a coupler mount that is designed to sit on top of the backer plate at the mid section. The mounts can be purchased as a set per the renderings which include 1 base mount, 1 coupler mount and 3 standard mounts. The individual sections can also be purchased a la carte allowing you to customize the layout to your project. The 1/2″ EMT conduit will slide over 1/2″ rebar that you drive into the ground which helps stabilize the base of the pole and prevents twisting. Unless you are attaching the poles to a structure that can support the whole span, it is imperative to use multiple sets of guy wires on the poles. Four separate guy wires should be installed to the EMT near the top and also at mid span for a total of 8 guy wires. Colors may vary, typically they are white or black. If you have a specific color request for white or black please include a note indicating your preference with your order, but keep in mind that it may increase processing time for in-stock items. Includes 3D printed parts only.

As with all our designs, we strive to utilize the precut zip tie hole locations for our mounts. However, these pre-made holes don’t always align perfectly for optimal mount placement, which means you may need to create additional holes in the coro to secure the mounts with zip ties.

General instructions for attaching mounts to coro props, including zip tie hole alignment, can be found by clicking this link.

Our goal is to get your order shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders, including made to order items, ship within 3 to 5 business days, and many ship even sooner. If we anticipate processing times exceeding this, the most up-to-date estimated processing times will be displayed in a banner at the top of the website.

All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.
