3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Flat Mini Trees. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces as well as provide rigidity to the prop after it has been slit in half for shipping. The mounts can be ordered in two styles, a basic mount and a mega mount. The basic mount consists of 2-4 mounts (depending on tree size) on the centerline of the tree that support a single piece of EMT conduit. The mega mount version adds on outrigger mounts that are primary intended to help stabilize the trees during ground installation as 1/2″ rebar can be driven into the ground and inserted inside of the EMT conduit. The mini and small sizes use 1/2″ EMT conduit while the medium size uses 3/4″ EMT for the center support and 1/2″ EMT for the outrigger supports. Mounts for the large size utilize 1″ EMT conduit for the main frame and have two short sections that use 1/2″ EMT which are intended to provide a more snug fit when inserting over rebar. For the medium and large sizes, these mounts are not intended to be the sole support system. You will either need to attach the mounts to a solid structure like a fence post or porch column or use guy wires that are attached directly to the EMT. For ground installations 1/2″ rebar should be inserted at least 2′ into the ground and extend above the ground the full height of the outrigger mounts. Colors may vary, typically they are white or black. If you have a specific color request for white or black please include a note indicating your preference with your order, but keep in mind that it may increase processing time for in-stock items. (As an option for additional support beyond what’s depicted, one could use PVC cross fittings with our bushings and add a horizontal EMT section to connect the vertical runs of EMT.)

3D printing parts is a slow process and we have a whole print farm running 24/7 to fulfill orders and build stock of the more popular items. If you order a product that shows “made to order” we will move it directly to the print queue where it will be printed as soon as possible. While normal processing times for most orders with made to order items is less than a week, it can fluctuate. Very large orders can also experience longer than normal processing times as well because of the high number of hours it takes to produce lots of parts. All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.
