Star Gazer Mount STL

3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Star Gazer. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces as well as provide rigidity to the prop after it has been slit in half for shipping. The mounts are sized to fit 3/4″ EMT conduit and were designed as a box frame around the Star Gazer so not to obstruct the center opening design. The mounts themselves are zip tied to the coro and feature a hole on the top where a screw can be inserted through the mount and into the EMT to secure it in place. In order to construct the horizontal cross braces, four 3/4″ PVC Tee fittings are required and will utilize 12 EMT to PVC bushings (file included) that will reduce the size of the PVC Tee so that it accepts the EMT conduit. Once dry fit, drill through the PVC, bushings and EMT at all the junction points with #8 sheet metal screws to lock all components in place.
