3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Small World 46″. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces as well as provide rigidity to the prop after it has been slit in half for shipping. The STL download contains the files to make the mounts for either 1/2″ or 3/4″ EMT conduit and the mounts are designed to be zip tied to the coro. The conduit slides through the mounts with the center junction utilizing a 1/2″ or 3/4″ PVC cross (depending on which size conduit used) that allows the smaller EMT conduit to pass through with the included bushing file. The conduit is then secured to the mounts using screws to lock the mounting frame in place to the prop. More information below.
Note: This is a digital purchase for STL files and not a physical product.
Many of the the pixel holes on the Small World are not symmetric about the horizontal or vertical centerlines of the prop and vary by a few millimeters, this is most apparent on the center mount. To compensate for this variation the impacted pixel holes on the mount are elliptical and are placed at the average center point of the pixels. The mounts should be placed on the prop where the alignment averages out between the pixel and zip tie holes. We recommend not fully tightening the zip ties until the conduit is fully inserted to allow for small adjustment of the final fit.

The menu you selected is for STL files which are digital product downloads and not physical 3D printed parts. These are for printing on your own personal 3D printer only. If you are shopping for the ready made 3D printed parts then you should remove any STL files from your cart and select the products from the “3D Printed Designs” menu on the website.
