PPD GeoWreath Mount STL

3D Printed mounting system for the 46.5″ Boscoyo Studios PPD GeoWreath. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces. The STL files contain versions that fit both 1/2″ EMT conduit and 1/2″ PVC pipe. EMT is recommended for added rigidity and because one of the EMT sections can run continuously through the center of the prop.

The orientation shown of the PPD Wreath in these renderings is correct and matches the xLights model and the original concept from PPD. The orientation shown on the Boscoyo website is incorrect and when making the slit on the prop for shipping, they are slitting down the wrong axis (where the V notch is located) which is 11.25 degrees off from the points. The result is that the slit does not pass under the outer mounts. However the center mount being circular, will provide support around the slit and the frame in general does provide some support. What this means to you is that our outer mounts cannot directly help to stabilize the slit and you may desire to add additional reinforcements around the slit.
