This STL file set contains everything needed to 3D print the mounting system designed specifically for the EFL Medium NSR Tree. The mounts are designed to be zip-tied directly to the coro and are available in two mounting styles: Basic and Mega. The Basic version consists of three mounts along the centerline of the tree that support a single piece of 3/4″ EMT conduit. The Mega version adds outrigger mounts designed primarily to help stabilize the tree during ground installations. The outrigger mounts are sized for 1/2″ EMT conduit, allowing 1/2″ rebar to be driven into the ground and inserted inside the conduit, while the center mounts retain their 3/4″ EMT sizing. Because the tree is 46″ tall, these mounts are not intended to be the sole support system. The tree should either be attached to a solid structure such as a fence post or porch column, supported with a separate EMT framework using Maker Pipe fittings, or stabilized using guy wires attached directly to the EMT. A Maker Pipe support framework can be fabricated using additional EMT and fittings to create angled supports extending from the tree, forming a rigid triangular structure.

Note that the pixel holes on the star are slightly offset from the corresponding holes on the rest of the prop by a few millimeters. To accommodate this variation, the holes on the star mount are oversized and made elliptical, allowing for some adjustment during installation. We recommend finding the centerline of the tree below the star and using it as a reference when positioning the star mount.

As with all our designs, we strive to utilize the precut zip tie hole locations for our mounts when possible. On the Medium NSR Tree there are only a couple of zip tie hole locations and none of those are located where the mounts need to be fabricated for optimum support. This means you will need to create additional holes in the coro to secure the mounts with zip ties.
