GE Flat Mini Tree Mounts Metric STL

3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Flat Mini Trees. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces as well as provide rigidity to the prop after it has been slit in half for shipping. The mounts can be made in two styles, a basic mount or a mega mount and the STL download contain all the files necessary to make either version. The mini, small and medium size mounts are designed to fit 20mm conduit and the large size is designed for 25mm conduit with the short sections of outside mounts designed for 20mm conduit. The files for each size contain all the parts to make either the basic mount version consisting of 2-5 mounts (depending on tree size) on the centerline of the tree or the mega mount version which adds on outrigger mounts that are primary intended to help stabilize the trees during ground installation as 1/2″ rebar can be driven into the ground and inserted inside of the conduit. For the medium and large sizes, these mounts are not intended to be the sole support system. You will either need to attach the mounts to a solid structure like a fence post or porch column or use guy wires that are attached directly to the conduit. For ground installations 1/2″ rebar should be inserted at least 2′ into the ground and extend above the ground the full height of the outrigger mounts.
