ChromaStar 46 Mount STL

This STL file set contains everything needed to 3D print the mounting system designed specifically for the Boscoyo Studios ChromaStar 46. These mounts add strength and provide a more solid mounting point when attaching the ChromaStar 46 to a mega tree topper. The download includes two conduit configurations to choose from. The first is designed for a combination of 1/2″ threaded pipe and 1/2″ EMT conduit, with the threaded pipe allowing the star to connect to a floor flange installed on the topper. The second is designed for 3/4″ EMT conduit throughout the frame, which is compatible with Maker Pipe fittings.

Both configurations utilize a 3/4″ PVC cross at the center junction to connect the perpendicular sections, with the included bushings file allowing the conduit and/or threaded pipe to slide through. Alternatively, you can use a 180 Degree Structural Pipe Connector from Maker Pipe at the center junction.

The vertical section of threaded pipe or conduit rests on top of the stock Boscoyo center support clamps, aligning with the height of the mounts. Due to the close proximity of the center junction to the coro support clamps, you will need to trim away some material from the clamps to provide additional clearance at the center junction.
