Valley Clips

$0.60

Easily and quickly attach Christmas lights to your house with these valley clips. Attach the lights to sections of PVC pipe or EMT conduit and then insert the PVC/EMT into the clips. Allows for the installation of entire spans in just a few minutes. The Valley Clips are considerably thinner than our other styles of clips to allow them to slide under the valley shingles and to accommodate variations in valley angles. As a result it is recommended to install clips every 15-20 inches. However age of the roof, shingle integrity and weight of PVC sections can increase or decrease the amount of clips required for a secure fit. If you have a particularly sharp valley angle please contact us and we can modify the design to match a more acute angle. Clips come in black. If you prefer white please include a note indicating your preference with your order, but keep in mind that it may increase processing time for in-stock items. Includes 3D printed parts only. Installation Notes: Valleys are an inherently difficult place to utilize any sort of clip due to the fact that shingles have sealant on them meant to keep them from lifting along the valley seam. Along most of the seam, if the sealant is doing its job, it may be difficult to slide the clips under them. Often you must place them where there is a small step in a course of shingles as it’s easier to lift up the shingle in order to insert the clip. For this reason the valley clips are made very thin, but this also makes them more fragile. You may need to utilize a flat screwdriver, putty knife or something similar as a wedge to help lift the edge of the shingle in order to slide in the clips. If you try and force the clip into place it’s possible to damage the shingle and or break the clip. Be sure and take your time and work slowly when installing valley clips and always have a number of spares on hand in case any clips break.

3D printing parts is a slow process and we have a whole print farm running 24/7 to fulfill orders and build stock of the more popular items. If you order a product that shows “made to order” we will move it directly to the print queue where it will be printed as soon as possible. While normal processing times for most orders with made to order items is less than a week, it can fluctuate. Very large orders can also experience longer than normal processing times as well because of the high number of hours it takes to produce lots of parts. If processing times are expected to be longer than two weeks before shipping, there will be a banner at the top of the website indicating the expected wait times. See the FAQ page for more info.

All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.
