Shape Shifter Mount

Price range: $61.95 through $63.95

This 3D printed mounting system is designed specifically for the Gilbert Engineering Shape Shifter 47″ prop. The brackets are secured to the coro with zip ties and sized to fit either 1/2″ or 3/4″ EMT conduit, depending on your selection, which slides through the mounts to form the frame. At the center junction, a corresponding 1/2″ or 3/4″ PVC cross is used to connect the perpendicular conduit sections, with included bushings to adapt for EMT’s slightly smaller diameter. Once the conduit is in place, it is fastened to the mounts with screws, locking everything together to create a strong, rigid structure behind the prop. This setup provides excellent stability for mounting to various surfaces and is especially useful for reinforcing props that have been split for shipping. Colors may vary, although black is most common. If you have a specific color request for black or white please include a note indicating your preference with your order, but keep in mind that it may increase processing time for in-stock items. Includes the 3D printed parts only; conduit, PVC cross, screws, and zip ties are not included. (3/4″ EMT is recommended since the completed prop weighs approximately 25lbs with bullet pixels)

As with all our designs, we strive to utilize the precut zip tie hole locations for our mounts. However, these pre-made holes don’t always align perfectly for optimal mount placement, which means you may need to create additional holes in the coro to secure the mounts with zip ties.

General instructions for attaching mounts to coro props, including zip tie hole alignment, can be found by clicking this link.

3D printing parts is a slow process and we have a whole print farm running 24/7 to fulfill orders and build stock of the more popular items. If you order a product that shows “made to order” we will move it directly to the print queue where it will be printed as soon as possible. While normal processing times for most orders with made to order items is less than a week, it can fluctuate. Very large orders can also experience longer than normal processing times as well because of the high number of hours it takes to produce lots of parts. If processing times are expected to be longer than two weeks before shipping, there will be a banner at the top of the website indicating the expected wait times. See the FAQ page for more info.

All of our 3D printed parts use PETG filament which provides good flexibility and resistance to UV exposure when used seasonally.
