As with all our designs, we strive to utilize the precut zip tie hole locations for our mounts. However additional holes beyond the precut ones are needed to install the mounts. In order to improve the strength on the center mounts the conduit is secured at each mounting post by using a 85mm long M6 bolt that tightens against a nut that gets embedded to the bottom of the post. The bolt then continues through the front of the prop where it is secured again using a washer and another nut. This creates an incredibly strong post that will hold up to the weight of this prop. This technique with the bolt running through the mount is only used on the lower 3 center mounts with the conduit on the center star mount being secured conventionally with a screw like all the other mounts The star mount utilizes an embedded zip tie tunnel to secure the mount to the coro in which the zip tie must get fed from the front of the prop.
Here is an example of utilizing a bolt or machine screw to secure the conduit to the mount and the prop. This maximizes strength in the part since the bolt helps transfer shear loads all the way through the mounts.
