PEX Ultimate Arch Bases STL

These PEX Ultimate Arch Bases makes building arches easier than ever before thanks to our innovative design and pixel strip mounting system. The PEX Ultimate Arch Bases are an enhanced version of our standard PEX arches bases and replaces the PVC / EMT horizontal brace with PEX tubing allowing you to run pixel strips in both the arch and horizontally parallel to the ground. The bases are sized for 1″ PEX tubing with 1/2″ PVC stabilizing legs. The design features a first of its kind pixel strip holder which has a two part barrel design that precisely fits inside the PEX tubing. The inner barrel engages with the outer barrel through the use of a double dovetail and a lower platform on the inner barrel creates a strong friction fit with the silicone sleeve of the pixel strip securing it in place. A shaft through the center of the inner barrel allows for a 1/8″ bungee to be installed which when fitted with crimped ends, can be connected to the PEX tubing end caps allowing the pixel strip to be fully tensioned before you even assemble the arches! This greatly streamlines the build process making it possible to assemble arches in record time. The arch bases can be ordered with one of three different arch angles, which is the angle of the PEX when exiting the bases. A 0 degree angle will produce a taller, but narrower arch and conversely a 10 degree angle will produce a wider, but shorter arch. It all comes down to aesthetics and personal preference.
