Nash Tree Mount 20mm STL

$15.00

3D Printed mounting system for the Gilbert Engineering Nash Tree. The mounts provide a frame structure behind the coro to increase strength and allow mounting to various surfaces as well as provide rigidity to the prop after it has been slit in half for shipping. The mounts are sized to fit 20mm conduit conduit and are designed to be zip tied to the coro. In order to construct the center horizontal conduit brace, two 25mm PVC T fittings can be inserted along the vertical sections of conduit using the included bushings file that allow the conduit to fit inside of the PVC. For ground installations 1/2″ rebar can be driven into the ground and the conduit can slide over the rebar to hold the prop in place. At a minimum the rebar should go into the ground at least 18″ and extend into the prop 18″. Guy wires or additional EMT structure like the one illustrated is highly recommended for those that experience winds. Note that the Nash Tree is an asymmetric prop with a front and back side and thus the mounts only will only fit on the back side of the prop. You can reference these renderings which show the mounts attached to the back side of the prop as well as the model within xLights to determine the correct orientation.

For those in the UK, the links below are where you can get the conduit and PVC fittings.
