Star 46-270 Mount 20mm STL

$15.00

This STL file set contains everything needed to 3D print the mounting system designed specifically for the Gilbert Engineering Star 46-270 prop. The brackets are designed to be zip-tied directly to the coro and sized for 20mm conduit, which slides through the mounts to form the frame. At the center junction, a 25mm PVC cross can be used to connect the perpendicular conduit sections using the included bushings file to adapt for the smaller conduit size, creating a secure structure.

Unlike our standard mounting systems, each mount is secured using an M6 × 85mm screw or bolt rather than a set screw. The conduit is drilled to allow the screw or bolt to pass completely through the mount and conduit, where it threads into an embedded M6 nut in the bottom of the mount. The screw or bolt then continues through the coro and is secured from the front of the prop using an M6 washer and a second M6 nut. This creates an extremely strong connection between the mount, conduit, and prop, making it well suited for supporting the star on a mega tree topper.

For those in the UK, the links below are where you can get the conduit and PVC fittings.

This mount is designed for Gilbert Engineering Star 46-270 props manufactured approximately 2022 and newer. If you believe you have an older version of the star, please contact us before ordering so we can help verify compatibility.
